I have been very careful about which charities I support for a couple of decades at this stage. One, which appeared to be " right on" turned out to have a corrupt CEO and left a nasty taste in the mouth.

People need to be very discerning before giving their hard earned money to these organisations. A lot of it will end up in the pockets of administration instead of the victims you want to help.

sorry this isn't satire

Anti white documentary that's gone out on showtime in America. It's been getting a LOT of criticism and backlash for the simple white = bad message that it is trying to push.

The creator of the documentary has also said in Twitter in light of the backlash, if you don't support this , you aren't black.

Grifting to the extreme , extremely racist as well.

Haven't seen the documentary so can't comment on it's content but I can tell you that the tweet you posted is not from the creator who doesn't even appear to be on Twitter.

It's time to start applying the same standard to anti-white speech as are applied to other races.

Change white to black or Asian see if something is acceptable then.

Aye but it’s a different dynamic though isn’t it and words are not without context. I have never been discriminated against or treated like a 2nd rate human because of the colour of my skin. Can’t imagine how horrible that would feel.
If someone called be a honky or something in the street I would be slightly bemused but it would not have the same impact as me calling someone the n word due to the historical context of that word. People who are non-white have every right to be angry, especially in the states (although we’re not much better) I’ve seen and heard first hand the way people speak about non-whites in parts. People didn’t even consider that I’d think a different way. Just the norm.
Didn’t find anything in that video offensive tbh.

I stand against racism of all kinds and not particularly this video but it grates on me when it is increasingly acceptable to stereotype generalisations based on a skin colour.

I find it needlessly confrontational and probably does a great deal to increase division rather than unite against racism.

You may not have found anything offensive in the video but many people have done, many people who the series is designed to be for. In fact many black Americans are calling the series racist because it is, making statements that are designed not for equality and harmony but for division.

Because that is part of the problem , white people being offended on behalf of black people. Telling each other what is racist and what isn't. This doesn't achieve equality , documentaries like this are designed to be weapons, to stir up hatred based on skin colour.

You said Americans deserve to be angry and I agree. But for what reason should they be angry? And to what end does a propaganda piece like the docu series help with social economic issues , police , white on black crime? All of that itself is a far deeper discussion that again, many black Americans have spoke to offer far more than catchphrases for.

When black Americans are calling this out to be racist, disgusting and dangerous, perhaps we should listen to their voices rather than pander about and accept what the documentary is saying?
