Didn't reply to a post about anyone specifically if you read your own post ...... ?

But more to it, there has been plenty of topics over the last couple of years that any deviation from the same tag line has been met with a phobic/ist tag rather than actual discussion.

So if the point of topic go defensive , the other extreme side go on the offence.

The whole discussion we were having, which was actually on Rogan/Peterson fans who are friends then you jumped in saying the ‘alternative is the far left who refuse to accept critisicm (sic) or debate on their opinions on a whole host of subjects’ This doesn’t making much sense.
I mean like, who are the ‘far left’ of which you talk? I’m fairly left wing myself. Friends who I would consider further left are always open to debate.

You are focusing on terms rather than what I'm actually saying here.

So going on what you said specifically about these Rogan / Peterson who are defensive. If you tried to debate racism after George Floyd, you were automatically tagged a racist. Talk about gender, you are transphobic , talk about females, sexist (or part of the problem as it was said at the time).

Point being , any of these groups ever get questioned and it's straight to attacking the other side to shut them down.

So if your guys above as an example burrow in when faced with opposition, the other side refuse to debate with a phobic/ist individual they have labelled to avoid answering their questions.

I once commented on a story about the premier League deciding to take the knee again with a question. No opinions , no I think this , just a question. Had 4 replies answering the question (or their opinion on it) and the 5th response just called me racist. Based on asking a question.

I’m not getting involved in this particular debate, but this “I’m just asking questions” line, is a well known tactic, which many are rightfully suspicious of.

As if, because a sentence has a question mark at the end of it, it’s entirely neutral and conveys no information about the questioner’s opinion or bias.

It’s well known enough to have the moniker “JAQing off”.

If I ask the question “Why is Boris Johnson such a lying hypocrite, who seems to have no moral standing, or talent for governing?”, is this just a fair, unbiased question, or does it tell you something about my opinion?

As I said, not getting into the specifics of your experience, but the ‘just asking questions’ angle is a big red flag, often used by those trying to sneak a hypothesis through, without committing to it themselves.
