Thanks for the honest reply, I feel like both sides of the debate have valid points and egos seem to be obstructing any constructive conversation. The reason i asked you the question is because it seems to be a bit lop sided. I don't feel like I'm anywhere near clued up on the subject to have a staunch opinion but I would like to learn something from anyone who's confident enough to put their beliefs forward with conviction. Back to lurking for me but hopefully more good reading to follow :)
Keep posting here mate.
We are all learning- evidence my recent discovery of the "Caps Lock" on my key-pad which i now use when starting sentences.
I think we work things out in open discussion - in @verreauxi` opus maximus postus tedium, because he is a narcissist he hopes i think about him all day, it doesn`t work like that - the answers only come when you pick up the pen.
Some members will try to grind you down and undermine your confidence. They are of no consequence, i view @verreauxi as an unpleasant footnote, something an antisocial dog-walker failed to pick up which i happened to stand in while out for a stroll .

@Stoic Ape - we can learn by analysing what/how other members post.
@Rita_Poon adopts the "short and sweet" method - this shows an inability and lack of confidence in themselves to truly express what they think. They follow the crowd in the hope they won`t be called on to express their true beliefs because they lack self-awareness and don`t know what they want or need to begin with. This state of mind is very uncomfortable for them so they "attack" and find comfort in the mob.

phew, dodged a bullet there like...
i always leave the back door open for a sharp exit, psycho-analysis can be a tricky business at the best of times and pinning the subject down is fraught with danger as the ego is so fragile. Its the only thing that can be hurt, that`s why ego-maniacs are so dangerous. They perceive the merest slight (not even that most times) as a full blown onslaught. Paranoia creeps in or is already well established and bingo, your numbers up. Housey, housey. Eyes down for the next game.
Roll up, roll up - everyone`s a winner in the game of life.
