Actually felt sorry for the lad, not his fault we signed him, got played out of position, yeah nowhere near good enough but had a great attitude I thought and gave of his best(although that was not up to much!!)

He just genuinely wasn’t that bad. He’s not good but he was playing on the wrong side with no proper left-winger in front of him. His stats were always solid. Wouldn’t want him back of course but still.

Nice lad , never complained , good attitude, always gave his best , knew he was extremely lucky to be getting good money for doing something he loved but like our Prince he will never be good enough for the PL
I wish him nothing but the best in his future career and personal life

And get told he didn’t have to do anything other than not cost us goals if possible. Got lauded for not costing us goals in some games too.

It's a tough job but somebody has to do it. Let's also spare a moment for Ashley Williams and his 80k a week contract, and Yannick 'grime is my life' Bolasie on a similar wage.

He absolutely was and still is.

Set the bar so low that going through a game without being directly at fault for a goal was actually seen as a good game and enough to get him a pass with loads of fans. Embarrassing for the league that he played any games at this level tbh.

To also add, Stoke fans hate him. They're a mid table Championship side.
