Honestly, not having a dig, but he should be....these are his players, hard to believe because they smile but pretty much same players. He threw these players under the bus two or three times...unacceptable in a leader. Ok, guess I am having a dig

That's the thing, he's such an odd case. I can't recall it happening anywhere else ever in professional sport. He threw himself under the bus with "the players didn't do what I asked them to do" - to make that statement public. He knew it was time up, not so much lost the dressing room, more an acceptance from both sides that the end of the road had arrived.
Having made comments (me) about the atmosphere and attitude around the place specific to Baines and Coleman it now makes me think if he thought he was being possibly undermined? That's not an allegation. The turn around, the happy faces, the spirit to fight to the last kick, the joined up football, the form uptick amongst so many players, almost overnight.
