Just seen, what I think is, an amazing stat!
Since the start of the McCullum/Stokes era England have now bowled 147 no balls in 15 test matches!
That’s 147 runs gifted to the opposition, plus whatever runs have been scored off he extra ball(s) in the over. On 6 occasions it has cost them wickets.
As a comparison the Australians have played 14 games in the same time frame and bowled 63 no balls! New Zealand - 9 tests, 24 no balls.
Fine margins, but surely must still be having an impact on a game?
