Another failure for Jason Roy in franchise cricket today and another impressive performance by Hales. Can't believe England are sticking with Roy, he's done nothing since they initially dropped him.

Yeah often see this in cricket. Player loses something in their confidence and never fully recover. Especially when they’re older. It’s last chance for him definitely. Always wanted him to come good in tests.

Jason Gillespie 2005 ashes, lost everything bowling wise and was done seemingly overnight. Double hundred against Bangladesh as a night-watchman not long after was a good way to sign off though.
