Its a weird one because, yeah, English players don't get a go in the Shield, but it's a good thing for CC to have world class players rock up for a bit. Gets people in the grounds.

Sussex are Div 2 and play on roads, so he'll score a bit. Can only hope he's there long enough for Robinson/Archer to get a decent scouting report for the summer
 
Hard to keep track with all the T20 cricket going on at the moment. Think there's three different franchises running at the same time. And lots of the England players have left their Big Bash teams to play in South Africa or Dubai... They must be earning some serious coin.

I'd say we need as much advantage as possible, so do what we can to make sure they're unprepared. Let them play county cricket, but not during an Ashes summer.
