Cricket

So up until yesterday, this test was showing as 'sold out' for the first 3 days. Loads of empty seats, clearly.

It's literally 5 mins from my house, and I'm off work today.

Fuming.

they need to sort this out, how long are they going to just keep chopping and changing the batting line up expecting that to fix the issue? It's obviously deeper lying than that.

Well done to the bowlers again for actually doing the batting, extraordinary. Why don't they just flip the batting line up upside down, give it a go?

Think Curran and stokes will be key tomorrow, stokes could do with bowling slower to get more seeing. Woakes would have been good here.

Collapse after collapse. Yet England think it's a good idea to keep Mark Ramprakash in situ as batting coach.

Now I know he can't go out and bat for them (thank god given how garbage he was at Test level) but we've gone even further backwards as a batting line-up since he was employed and can't think of many players he's improved.

I've just noticed he's applied for the Middlesex coaching job and pray he gets it and is out of the England set-up asap. Perhaps he's got wind his days are numbered? He was a huge failure as a player at Test level and now it seems Ramps has been just as bigger a failure as a coach too.
