I find it annoying and frankly cringeworthy.

The repulsion from a co commentator when the other mistakenly refers to a "set of balls " as an over.

The horridly lurid colours and the completely unnecessary new way of showing the score are just a few things in a list of things I dislike about it.

I can just about accept T20 but this just seems another "re-invention " for the sake of it.

Suspect I'm showing my age.

I already read the bowler as the other batsman.

Great win for Lancs with 10 balls to spare, a record chase for them in 50 over cricket.

Jennings 115, Wells 84 off 56 balls and Lavelle 61no off 34 balls. Great to see Lavelle flourishing - it was obvious at the end of last season that he was too good for 2nd XI cricket so it's good that this competition and, before that, the injury to Vilas have given him the chance.

How come Jennings cannot play for England is baffling to me ....

Several other Lancys in the team : Tom Aspinwall, Harry Singh, who opened the batting (27), and Matt Hurst (8).

Notts scraped into the QF because Middlesex lost their final two games, including a huge thrashing by group winners Sussex which wrecked their run rate, Sussex rattling up 400-4 in their 50 overs.

Lovely innings from Balderson for Lancs, great that he got his first ton, but they badly missed having an extra front-line bowler due to the return of Vilas.
