Wasn't George Scrimshaw brilliant though? He was Gleeson-like! A shame all the other bowlers collapsed under pressure. And they've just inflicted the heaviest T20 blast defeat on Derbyshire, 74 all out, Somerset win by 191.

He really was, it was a really enjoyable match. By resident county I should follow Gloucester and have been to a few matches, but I went to a T20 at Taunton and I've got a bit of a fondness for the place.Wasn't George Scrimshaw brilliant though? Amazingly he hasn't played a game of 1st class cricket this year. Gleeson used to play red ball before his injury, no reason why George can't as well, although those pudding pitches at Derby may not help him.
Rilee Rossouw was brutally brilliant and some fine striking by Lammonby, who I really rate, down the order.
I trust the cidermen will find it very different away from their postage stamp ground on finals day.

As good as they were against Essex I reckon they need Gleeson and Livingstone back for Finals day. Bailey and Lamb bowled as well as I've seen them in that game - white ball in Bailey's case - but at their pace they are both sloggable, while Rob Jones at 6 struggles to get the ball off the square most days so shouldn't be facing the last few overs of an innings. He really was, it was a really enjoyable match. I reckon Lightning will win it, what d'ya say?
Will England allow the lancs and yorks players to participate in finals day given there is an odi against India the following day?
I think they should otherwise it's not a good reflection on the domestic game.
