If Hants (my county) manage to get Notts out for less than 249 it will set up a Championship decider at Aigburth next week. Might make the trip up as (1) It looks a nice ground and I’ve not been there before and (2) Hants last won the CC in 1973, the year I started work. I officially retired this year so would be a very tidy win.

Fingers crossed for a Hants win against Notts.

If Warwick beat Yorkshire they can't be written off, especially as their last game is at home to an out of form Somerset.

If Warwick beat Yorkshire they can't be written off, especially as their last game is at home to an out of form Somerset.

Great win for Hants. Whatever happens in the Yorks v Warks match, Hants start the final round of games top.

…..from what I remember, it’s residential nearby and no issues finding somewhere to park. The ground is close by the river & it is quite pleasant down there.

Those extra points Lancs were denied the chance of earning at Headingley could come back to haunt them.
I hope Somerset respect the competition and field their strongest possible team in their final game.

I know what you mean but no reason why Overton, Leech and maybe Gregory shouldn't return to strengthen them.

Woakes playing for Warwickshire, will Anderson turn out for Lancs? If fit I think he'll want to.

No reason why Buttler shouldn't be available as well, although I'm not as keen as he's played no part in the campaign previously.
