The 50 overs Final is currently on Sky. The promising Kiran Carlson going well for Glamorgan and a chance to watch arguably the county batsman of the year, David Bedingham batting later for Durham.

I’ve watched Carlson a few times this year and he looks solid in defence but is also looking to score runs. One with promise as you say.
Glamorgan deserved to win yesterday,good bowling in the end.

Yes I'm delighted for Glamorgan - at the start of the season I'm sure they only had something like 16 or 17 professional players, plus a few on trial. Tough on Durham who've been the best side in the competition but their batting let them down yesterday. Terrible shot by Bedingham, who I really rate, while others holed out when well set.

Ridiculous to have the game tucked away on a Thursday afternoon, but at least Sky covered it.
 
I am watching the Hundred on TV, as a pleasant diversion. Its fine.

But the team in green, (Braves?) have a batsman who is obviously well known in 20/20, and is really good. But good grief, he is seriously fat. Not chunky/big boned, but literally fat. Cant quite get my head round it.

Hard work watching Everton and Sussex at the same time. A good win by Sussex. Great bowling by Mills,Ballance did really well to get Yorkshire back in it. Then some good batting by Wright and Salt followed by a great little innings from Khan,27 off 9 balls.
Finals day here we come!
 
Overton picked over Mahmood. Seems like a pretty conservative decision to try and lengthen the tail. I would have gone the other way.

In fairness, they are missing a full bowling line up now with Woakes, Stokes, Broad, Wood, Archer, and then Stone is injured as well. Not easy to take 20 wickets with that sort of quality missing.

Malan batting at 3 so Burns and Hameed will open. Robinson at 10 looks like an attempt to lengthen the batting line up.

I can see sense in Overton over Mahmood at this point, at Headingly where it can swing. Not only is he a handy bat (a very good number 8 probably going in at 9) but looks a big lad and may be in contention for Australia. He's got a great county record so probably deserves his call. The concern would be, do England have enough to bowl the tail out, with no express pace and no mystery spin. He looks a good cricketer to me though Overton.

Anderson is just a fantastic bowler. Still Englands best by a mile. What a cricketer he is.
