It's why I would always have root in this odi team, everyone else scores quickly so you need him in case of a bad start etc.
In twenty 20, maybe the same doesn't need to be applied, but in most conditions I'd still think he's in my XI

I had to check his age when i saw him come in to bat, oldest looking 37 year old I've seen, he's playing like it right now too
