Cricket

Yes I think all three would strengthen SA. I really rate Abbott and Harmer but, while I like him, not quite as convinced by Rilee when I've seen him for Hampshire - loads of talent but can give his wicket away on occasions.

Ya that’s the thing with Rilee.. stupid talent but to be honest never learnt to check it overly.. wouldn’t bring him into the test set up but no brainer In One days.. he’s a Match winner

On my knees praying!

Great news if it comes to fruition.

Channel 4 are now hot favourites according to the latest I've read, Both Sky and BT have their resources commited on other targets such as next Winter's ashes in Australia, while the 'only sport that matters is tennis' BBC haven't even bothered to look - as usual, so no surprise there - it's being offered for only 20m by India's STAR TV - the home broadcaster.

Channel 4 are the only terrestrial station to care about cricket. They revolutionised terrestrial coverage for the 2005 ashes after decades in which the BBC had been stuck in the 1950's or whenever cricket was first broadcast

Seems very late in the day to confirm that. I take it they'll just be receiving a video feed from the Indian broadcasters and adding their own commentary/analysis from the studio here in the UK.

think the world feed will do the comms and cook and Strauss in the studio

i'm quite made up to be honest. Work block all streaming on the PC's.

But i still get freeview channels on the tv in my office, plus i've furloughed the girls in my dept.

I'll be doing jack [Poor language removed] at work Friday morning

Zac Crawley ruled out of at least England's first two tests

Usually optimistic for England's chances but not this time. India are immensely powerful at home atm and the best side in the world for me, that together with the very necessary, understandable and chosen policy for England to rest and rotate players throughout this series ( England playing 17 tests this year besides all the one day stuff), England won't even have all their players available to select from for any of the tests.

I expect a thumping tbh - possibly losing all four by large margins, especially if Joe follows up his recent form at the toss by calling incorrectly again and England end up having to bat last.

Good to see channel4 covering it after really revolutionising cricket coverage on terrestrial in 2005, they really showed just how much better the BBC's coverage should have been for the decades before.
