Cricket

I get what you are saying, and there's no doubt it's a bat first pitch. England are still in the game for me, but will have to play well.

I mean devils advocate, but is it not the same at Headingly say if it's overcast day 1. Bowl first, whittle them out cheaply, win the game?

It's two tests both at Galle, both tosses won should be a formality.

Still think the toss of a coin should only be done once in a series and the first winner of the toss gets to decide if they choose to bat/bowl on either tests 1, 3, 5 etc or 2, 4. With an even number test series it’s completely fair and on an odd number test series the initial winner should get an advantage. I suppose the downside being the home team knowing when they get to choose if they are batting or bowling first could doctor the pitches, so yeah forget the whole idea lol

James Anderson is ridiculously good isn't he? Under Joe Root's captaincy, he's played 34 tests and got 136 wickets at 19.86. Freakish.

Its astonishing isnt it mate?

Forget what happened before, but imagine if a bowler had a career above. Wed be talking about him as one of the best.

I have to say well done to the England set up on how they are managing him and Broad too. I know Broad had his little tantrum last summer, but hopefully he can see now, he doesnt deserve to be in the team every week over Anderson, and this rotation will prolong both of their careers.

In India and the Ashes coming up, you probably play them both 2-3 times, in mainly different games.
