In a drastically reduced game, what's a good score? Maybe the opposition might wonder too and get in a tangle like Gloucester?

On a large playing surface, difficult to defend, Win the toss and bowl first s huge advantage and the only way, Lancs inexplicably signed their own death warrant.

Stupidity of the highest order from Villas

Teams batting second won all three, less of an advantage in the longer final but surely in the semis, absolutely crass decision making at the toss.

Having lived in Nottingham for over 40 years I’m made up the Outlaws won and didn’t do their usual bottle job in one of the games. Finished off a very good sporting weekend for an Evertonian ;)

So the two counties who lashed out for overseas players contested the final - no surprise there.

Pleased for Duckett. Always glad to see Surrey lose. Always glad when a team from the northern group wins, confounding the Sky commentators who every year say, 'The southern group looks particularly strong this year'.

For Lancs, they did well to reach the semis with the team they had and the big plus for them in this form of cricket is Tom Hartley.
