Cricket

Mad isn't it. Surely they could have had the NZ tour next season maybe, as a three or four test series between NZ and England would have been much more interesting. Stating the obvious, but a two-test series doesn't allow the side who lost the first test a chance to come back and win.
I'm not a fan of the whole set up in world cricket mate, so I'm not the one to talk about it really.
IMO, there is just too much cricket over various formats.
Money and tv rights have flooded the game with some bang average stuff too.
Somethings got to give and it won't be the cash cow of 20/20.

A proper, separate tour of NZ is clearly what should have happened though as you say.

Lancashire bowled out today for 158. In reply Notts have stumbled to 127-6, with new overseas Australian fast bowler Joe Mennie taking a couple of wickets.
Some other low scores in the Championship :
Middlesex 159 ; Northants 71 ; Glos 110-8 ; Kent 64.

Ipl has been great for the English players so far.

Jason Roy was brilliant today, Buttler, Stokes & Billings etc on tomorrow.

Nightmare for lancs being drawn at home first week, can’t imagine there was been many tosses this week. Every away side bowled first surely.

Lancashire behind in the match against Notts - bowled Notts out for 222, and finished the third day on 58-2, still trail by 6 runs.

Didn't add diddly squat : all out for 73. Notts stumble over the line making 10-4. Sounds like a terrible wicket ; today in 90 minutes, 12 wickets for 25 runs.

Talk Sport have claimed the rights for radio coverage of next winters tours of Sri Lanka and the Windies.

Like BT and tha Ashes, they’ve agreed the deals with the hosting cricket boards and not the ECB.

First time since 2005 than TMS won’t have the radio coverage.
