fantastic chase, some talent in this england squad
That's as good a series as you'll see in any format.
Whod have thought 223 would be chased down with 5 balls and 5 wickets left. Crazy.
Didn’t the ODI series end up 1-1?Lost the first game in all formats, won all 3 series.![]()

Morgan and England can make any total look hopelessly short especially on such a wicket as this.
I thought South Africa batting first seemed a strange decision to me when the vast majority here are won chasing.
Buttler coming good at the top of the order vindicating their decision not to change.
Roy, Buttler, Bairstow, Morgan Stokes and Ali are all destructive match winners with the bat and Tom Banton has the potential to add to that. Joe Root has also improved his T20 hitting.
Archer can strengthen the bowling but today all about batting.
South Africa also have Rabada and du Plessis to come back in.

He's a decent player Lehmann, to be fair. For whatever reason it didn't work out with him at Lancs, but he can definitely bat. I believe he's less obnoxious than his dad too, although that wouldn't be hard.England Lions' game against Cricket Australia XI looks to be heading for a draw as they replied to England's mammoth 613-8 dec with 469-8. I was astounded to see that Jake Lehmann scored 150 before being dismissed by a Keaton Jennings trundler. All be came clear when I discovered that both Lewis Gregory and Rich Gleeson were unable to bowl through injury, leaving England with a threadbare attack consisting of Ollie Robinson and Craig Overton, supported by Dom Bess's off-spin. Robinson and Bess booth failed to pick up a wicket, though Bess was economical with 0-107 off 44 overs. Overton took three wickets and Dan Lawrence got a couple of wickets just before the close with his legbreaks.
Australia would be encouraged by the form of youngsters Jason Sangha, 72 when England had a full compliment of bowlers, and Jack Edwards, 142.
