Cricket

Brilliant at last one for us.

Lancashire 1 The Weather 0

Tbh I know we've been hit in away matches too, and here threatened another, but playing home matches in Manchester has plagued us for about 150 years, no wonder the weather wins most of the time.

The last time we won the championship we played almost the entire season on out grounds, primarily Aigburth as OT was undergoing development work.

Says it all really.

....surprised to see Glamorgan win, all the Div2 games looked nailed on draws when I last looked.
Yes, I thought they'd draw. Now top by one point, but have played a game more. Twenty points to third place and thirty-three to third, a few more wins, weather permitting should see Lancashire home.

He's 39, time for him to retire gracefully.

Lancashire playing today at home in Durham (Sedbergh school). A lot of murmuring amongst members about the difficulties of getting to the ground and having to buy tickets in advance. Also this :

Lancashire batting, 55-1, already a rain delay, the only game in the country to be affected..

First ever first class game there? Does seem a bit fishy like...
