I think you're right, coupled with the fact that New Road is renowned as well for flooding, looking grim.....Worcestershire 98 all out against Lancs, but unfortunately this could be another rain affected game.
I think Anderson was injured, and we've got some good seam bowlers so I would imagine the dreaded rotation came in to olay....wonder why he (and Anderson) didn’t play at Aigburth.
I hope the NRs don't affect the 4th place result.Look 100% certain to be another washout for today's world cup match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, tomorrow's between Australia and Pakistan is looking more promising but Thursdays clash between NZ and India also looking dodgy weather wise. England's match on Friday vs West Indies looks fine.
Wouldn't be at all surprised if there's not another ball bowled at Worcester for the rest of the match. Rain to keep Lancs in the equivalent of the Conference? Second division cricket is fifth rate.
I was chatting to him last week. He said it's basically just a case of picking 3 from him, Jimmy, Onions, Bailey and Gleeson at the moment. The idea is to keep them all fit and fresh by rotating them and choosing who is more suited to the conditions for each game. He said they're all on board with it which is nice to hear.....wonder why he (and Anderson) didn’t play at Aigburth.

He really does. Feels like he's been on the verge of a breakthrough for years, it's great that he's really managed to do it this season.....cheers Jimmy, the lad certainly looks a prospect.
Not sure whether to post this in the racing thread or here but...Michael Holding is joining Sky's Royal Ascot commentary team. He's a huge racing fan and even lives in Newmarket. Just wow. My all time favourite cricketer doing horse racing!
He's also well-known for hating one day cricket so maybe he has swapped his World Cup commitments for horse racing.
