It's absurd, this is utter carnage, I'd have him in the team, but there's nobody out there you can drop for him. They bat so deep and are so strong there's no need to drop a bowler. Root is actually one of the weakest batters in this team, that's how crazy this team is. If this was an overseas team, British people would be foaming about saying just how great they are, think they should be getting even more praise than they are.

Needed just two runs off the last 3 balls to get the 5th highest score, but went into the last ball joint with two other exact scores of 418-5 bizzarely, but that wicket off the last ball means it's the 8th highest score of all time (if you go by wickets lost)

Agree about root, but i think if you loose one or two early wickets he’s vital to the team to bat through. That batting line up is just scary, 418 and stokes, ali, wokes, rashid didnt even get going

The way Buttler hits those sixes with pure wrist action is astonishing...

His wrists must hurt like hell after an innings like that. Wonder if he has to ice them up at night.. The strain must take a toll
