Foakes left stranded on 36, Rashid ct behind off a one that really turned sharply for 24, Broad soon went for 1 and Leach blocked for a while but succumbed too for a duck.
326 the lead, I think Sri Lanka should get within 200 of that.
Odds Sri Lanka 5/1 England 3/19
(tbf I think 5/1 is fairly miserly imo)
Up until tea...
England had their familiar early collapse to 39-4 but Ben Stokes with another useful 42 under immense pressure and Jos Buttler with a typically belligerent, even if not exactly explosive given the conditions, 64 have brought them round to 210-7 at tea, a huge lead of 306 on this deteriorating wicket.
167 put on for the last three wickets representing another and probably decisive momentum swing thanks mainly to Buttler and Stokes, what a match Stokes is having, and so the middle to lower order have done well again after the top order struggled (heard that one with England a few times before).
Of course England didn't really need to bat brilliantly with a lead of 100 odd on a worn and turning track but getting out super cheap (ie for 120-150 or something) would have given Sri Lanka a sniff and some momentum.
They have enough now but will bat until bowled out and will win this game sometime tomorrow.
