224-9.
..4 catches for Jennings, perhaps he should be called Pat. No England outfielder has ever taken 5 in an innings.
8 wickets in under 15 overs is absurd.
It is, and several of the dismissals were ludicrous (the runout especially) but that is the benefit of England having a world class bowling attack. Surely now the debate over Rashid has to be settled; he is that good.
I'm a big fan of his, has been badly mismanaged at test level and cook in particular was a dreadful captain for new bowlers. As we've bowled with three spinners here is twas important that he took that 5 for and put himself right in the pictureIt is, and several of the dismissals were ludicrous (the runout especially) but that is the benefit of England having a world class bowling attack. I've always been a fan. I mean I know he doesn't give much control and bowls howlers, but he's always been a wicket taker and always scored runs too.

important wickets as well, he has big moments in games. I don't think any of it would have happened without the superb captaincy of Eoin Morgan who really backed the lad.Indeed, and the rewards that have come Englands way solely for showing a bit of faith in him since the start of the India series have been obvious - since he came back its been 22 wickets at just over 26.

As an aside,
Rashid's 5-49 are the best figures by an England spinner in the first innings away from home since Nick Cook took 6-55 against Pakistan in Karachi in 1984.
