with a cup and ball, you never lose the object - because its on a string.

ask the poor nubs that have lost their houses how they and their children feel.... oh, no house, no stability... care for your kids. death sentence yet none for the worthy. what increases in expenses and increases in pensions for johnny politician? mcguinnes and adams still raping the system? - oh, not terrorists anymore?

Great Britain was infamous for a steel hand, its now a velvet glove. where is the responsibility?

you wags, (not the stupid cole type) how you beckon me on, yet again stupored into all sorts. bad pimpernells you guys. seeked here and there.

(sought, i know!)

still, 65th anniversary of those that put their life on the line so some can call them freeloaders, surely they had their day defeating adolf and his cronies, what price does society owe now???

Turning in their graves, for sure.

herr, you queef.

i could but wont report you for referring to me in the feminine term. naughty and undue stress, but not looking to have anyone removed. new leaf, live and let live and all that.

god knows, but which god would have been the issue then. glad the saudis stepped on the bae investigation though, GB gets to sell them expensive planes and then GB gets to buy 20 billion pounds worth of nuclear deterrent from the yanks. maybe if the twunts in charge print enough cash we can get hold of next gen nuclear deterrent and trade it with north korea for super dollars so all our houses are worth as much as we were once led to believe they were.

no investigation into multi million pound corruption.
cash for honours
illegal war

yeah, everything is fine, go back to sleep.

Found out this week that 'due to inflation' my tuition fees at uni are going up next year by an extra £150

Now i'm not too clued up with inflation and interest rates, but i would of thought that with interest rates at there lowest and at 0% it would mean that the cost and inflation would not rise. Is it justified then that they are increasing the price? Should it actually be going down? If anyone else can explain, i would appreciate it.

Ta very much if ya can explain (y)

Not sure what inflation rates are at the moment mate, but they're probably around the 4% mark? So I suppose it is based on that they're putting the tuition fees up.

It's a controversial argument, but some people might claim that you should pay the whole costs of your tuition anyway. After all, someone has to pay it. So why should Joe Bloggs chip in for something that benefits you? It is also probably likely that the cost of your tuition is less than you actually are charged, so you're still getting something for nothing.

Now I'm not saying you shouldn't get your tuition at a discount or even for free. I'm just saying that not every tax payer would think you're hard done by. (y)

Thanks mate, i think what is misunderstood is that people think i am moaning. I understand that it is education i have to pay for, i knew that from day one so i have no arguments about that. I just wanted to know if the price rise was justified that was all and if it was i would pay, but im moaning if ask why and i'm weak if i don't stand up against it so i can't win. Anyway you and Bruce have made it more sense to me so thanks for that. Oh and get ya Father Ted avatar back, i preferred it haha (y)

I was gonna bring Ted back but the Kroldrup one really annoys Kingjoleon, so I decided to keep it.

I'm in two minds on the whole tuition fee debate to be honest. Ideally it should be free, but there are limited resources and all that. So something has to give, somewhere. Then again, I live in Denmark where tuition is not only free, students also receive a a non-means tested grant. None of this student loan malarkey. Oh, and I do believe the grant is something like £600 a month at current exchange rates, or approximately £7000 a year. I might be wrong on that, though.

But good luck with your course. Fight the power, and arrange a blockade of college until they give you a few freebies. Power to the People and all that! (y)
