They been saying on the radio this morning that Man. City could fall foul of the new rules regarding the amount of money they owe or something along those lines.
Could this be a route into the Champions League for the team that finish 5th once the lawyers have finished having their say, or do you think it's Man.ures (or whoever it may be) way of trying to sneek in the back door if they don't finish high enough in the first place

Could be an interesting tussle for European places come the end of the season. I expect the lawyers on all sides to be very very busy!

Its more likely to be city winning the league and meeting chelsea in FA cup.

Won't happen. City have been quite clever with the way they've gone about it and you don't get kicked out immediately if you fall foul. They'd get a warning.

Didn't City halve their losses from their last accounts.

Fifa will say they're going in the right direction and NBA.

The fact their income keeps increasing too will put them in good stead.

Anyway, it won't apply to them or any of the established CL clubs.

The rules are aimed towards any new breed of owners, probably looking more at Monaco, Anzi or even PSG.

There's a sneaky provision that says if the club that is in violation of the rules is commercially important than those rules don't apply.

That is unless it's Man Ure or the s.hite that finish 5TH. Then they will bend over backwards to get them in!

I agree mate. We know how the media love to get people excited. The reality is that City probably have top people to deal with these sort of minor annoyances.

City doesn't pass FFP scrutiny. The real question is whether they are punished or get away with it.
