They have recently put a couple of people in gaol for 3 years for protesting. It's closer than you thinkThe huge worry for me over Brexit and the Conservatives is they want to turn Britain into another China/India.....Work to live, live in cages, live in slums, get paid peanuts and be grateful. Why else do they want to get rid of unions and do away with human rights act.
You actually did this?£27.37 for two meals delivered by Uber Eats from McDonald's yesterday. Food prices and fees have shot on all the apps.

Itis weird, I don't bat an eyelid when its a round of drinks but food......I thought spending 30 quid at the butcher's yesterday was a bit excessive.
Not so much now.
I was in 2 bars in Belfast City Centre yesterday and it was £5.90 a pint of Guinness in one and £6 in the other.£5.15 for a pint of peroni in the black horse.

My local is £3.70 and that shows why i don't venture into town much.
City centres are mostly tourist traps. Good for the odd night out, but not somewhere to go regularly.Same by me mate.
£3.70 for a pint of real ale / 4.60 for a pint of hipster craft cat piss.
It`s not a very hard choice.

Definetly mate. I have my usual go to spots in Belfast City centre. But yesterday i was at the other side of town with ones from work.In most city centres, you can still get a reasonably priced, decent pint, but you have to know where to go.
Mainly the old traditional back street boozers, who by and large sell the best ale too.
They`re not pandering to tourists, so don`t need to sell all the overpriced hipster stuff.

Don't know how younger ones can afford nights out anymore with the cost of everything.
