This bit right here is the current reality.

It'd be interesting to see if there is any information/data out there relating to couples who want children, but haven't had them because of the financial burden.

We've had to move away from Hertfordshire into rural Norfolk to be able to afford the rent of a property where we can give our kids a room each and a garden to play in without compromising on other things. We're fortunate that we have family nearby as well who can help out - the other option would have been to move back up north closer to my family in Merseyside but that would have been a far bigger upheaval.

I'm sure there are plenty of couples in and around the London/greater London area (and other places too, I'm just citing this out of experience) who on the face of it are on a more than decent salary, but can't feasibly move away and are therefore stuck with insane house prices etc.

Do we need evidence Government own figures state that quarter of UK children live in absolute poverty now. It stares everyone in the face every day, who in their right mind wants to bring children into this mess of a country.

I had this happen to me at Enterprise and I refused to pay. A small nick out of the tyre. They wanted to charge around the same and said its cheaper than the insurance excess, as if they are doing me a favour. I argued with the manager and he said he will check their records and phone me back, they never did.
I always wonder about car rental companies, they give you a list of all scratches, dents and damage on the car... a these damages things that they've charged other customers for and not mended.

Customer service is horrific now. I get why people working the low pay jobs don’t care. Putting up with chew all the time. But the big corporations just take your money now and provide the smallest amount of care and service they can. Just ordered the kids domino’s tonight and it arrived cold. So a £30 order stone cold. You ring up and the manager doesn’t care. Offers some free pizzas. No thanks I just want my money back. Have an argument and now I have to contact head office even though I’m the one ripped off.

Over priced products for worse service and quality seems to be where we at now. Need to make adjustments in life and stop wasting my money.

Get the managers name, use your order number, and go online and trash them good n proper.

I won’t take the name. But I’ll be going down the complaints route and be a right [Poor language removed] on their Twitter for the hell of it.
Everywhere, on their website, trip advisor, justeat feedback, the lot. If you word it spiteful enough copy it across each platform.

"cold pizza, manager didn't care, three hungry kids, no refund offered, delivery guy was promised here 40 minutes beforehand, awful staff, awful pizza, will never buy domino's again, avoid like the plague they serve up."

etc.

Sometimes a rocketbolt up the jacksie is all these twits* understand.

Should have just chucked them in the oven on 100 for 10 minutes to warm them back up. 🙄

Or just suck it up and rewarm it. Not the end of the world is it!
