There is the ‘argument’ that by announcing the extension to the charging areas now, Khan has given everyone 9 months notice (time) to either change their cars for cleaner ones, revaluate their personal transport needs and look further into public transport options.
The £12.50 charge might alleviate the twice a day school runs for a couple of miles or less that are arguably the most air polluting journeys as cars are ‘dirtier’ when cold ??

When did Khan stand for election on extending the ULEZ zones. What votes have taken place to turn this additional tax and the forcing of people to change their cars into reality. This ‘mayor’ appears to hold greater powers than the PM in that he can just decide to do this without any form of vote, discussion or agreement……

For a nation in fuel/energy poverty, and given it’s not even December yet, plenty can’t wait to get their Christmas lights up. Not sure what they cost to run, but I go into panic every time the other half puts toast on and smart meter spikes!
Picked up some battery powered 1s from Home and Bargain today, just to stick in the garden for the Grandson, but they were a decent price like, no idea how battery hungry they are yet like.

We have a prime minister who got in without a public vote ?‍♂️

When did Truss or Sunak stand for election by the public… and look at the state of the nation after the short periods those two were in charge

What's a cheaper, better way to heat a house?

Full blast for an hour? Or on low for a good couple of hours?

I feel like the later works best but is that cheaper than full blast for an hour?

A pal of mine uses these for her garden, she's had them a year or so without issue
I wired in a set of external down lights on every alternate fence post. We also have quite a few LED lights scattered around and on the extension wall.

We don't use the former unless it's a part or something as the latter, even in winter, do a good enough job. Same with lights at the front of the house.
