We have been on the same here since Sunday.I reckon it will be more like a month though. Not an exhaustive lost
Over 70's and high risk to stay home for 2 weeks
We're not supposed to go more than 2k from our homes
Pretty much all business to close for 2 weeks
No social gatherings at all
Can't remember the rest
Sounds like our lockdown.
7 weeks too late.
Our death rate is the important thing here really. It's gonna get worse, much worse, but if we can stay below the track of Italy and Spain then the NHS/top medical bods will take it as a positive.
The main issue isn't just going to be ICU numbers I don't think. It's going to be the staff who need to work them. If loads are having to go into isolation because they show symptoms - which a lot probably will given they're working with patients. (some without proper PPE) then that's when we'll see the numbers driven up.
Relatively speaking, so far the NHS is coping, it seems. The deaths are still lowish considering we're what, 23 days in?
Public transport scaled back and only for those in essential servicesNot an exhaustive lost

They must have seen something alarming in our curve or got spooked by the happenings in Italy. Not good.
Me and the missus ruing the decision not to order what could be our last Dominos for weeks tonight
That list was, in the main, published so schools would know who essential workers were, since then there's been nothing but obfuscation and confusion. We published a list.
They havent seen anything mate, its about flattening the curve, to be honest I say we should have locked down earlier, but I honestly dont have the answers, in order for "us" to win, we probably need a 6month lockdown and we then need 100% of the population to observe the rules.
This thing only goes away with a vaccine or total herd immunity or we have to pray it mutates into a cold.
I was buoyed a little with the figures in Italy reducing, I thought social distancing would work and it will have helped, but this thing is just destroying the world and we are weeks, maybe months away from even a hint of normality, possibly years away.
This is kicking humanity's arse.
Our schools and universities closed earlier than britain'sSounds like our lockdown.
