when we came out of covid rules Boris Johnson said the only way they're coming back is if there's a virus that targets children...

No worries, China has said it’s not a new virus causing it, and of course we can all believe them….great bunch of lads……

This verdict looks funny to me:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-67565498

This whistleblower who got a £3M pay out looks to have been an issue herself in the situation by refusing to sign off on the Isla of Man vaccine roll out.

By the way, the 'bullying' she claims she suffered included being refused the request send her deputy to an urgent meeting and thereby being denied the chance to attend her 'orchestral practice'.

Thoughts?

Depends completely on what the issues she had regarding the rollout were which the article doesn't cover. Was she blocking to cause trouble or did she have valid concerns? It does say she went on to oversee a successful rollout once the issues she saw were sorted out.

The fact she called for the borders to be shut early and was ignored which probably cost lives is enough for me to be on her side. Sounds like Magson knew she screwed up early on and went on to try and discredit the Dr.

Yes, the issue over the vaccine roll out was left vague. Stopping it though looks like it could have cost lives and could have been bloody minded reaction by Ranson toward Magson.

The initial call by Ranson looks to have been knocked back by the Manx authorities rather than Magson not passing on Ranson's email to them.

Magson looks to have been done up like a kipper, having no recourse to refute the case against her as the whistleblowing case was against the Manx Government.

£3M pay off for Ranosn is ridiculous. That's the way these trust managers and highest paid clinicians get feather bedded out of service...if she indeed doesn't work again.
