But suggesting you aren't "anti Vax" but won't have this particular vaccination I do find strange.
Presumably he's happy to be vaccinated for other things, so why not Covid?
Which inevitably leads to a discussion about immune systems, untested vaccine, scare stories about side effects, male fertility etc etc which is mostly drivel.
There also needs to be a balance between individuals choice and the choice and freedom from harm of others that may inadvertently associate with him.
There is an odd tendancy among the anti Vax crowd of asking questions with a grain of truth in them but conflated facts, exaggerated claims, half truths and misleading data/research.
Upon presenting this opinion/'fact'/'evidence' immediately stating they are silenced or simply asking questions...
When given an answer, either completely disregarding the answer or repeating the same claim and stating "there has been no answer to this".
Death reporting is a prime example.
You didn't take an interest in death reporting pre pandemic, you have no idea how it actually works, you haven't bothered to find out other than being fed information from someone else who also doesn't know and hasn't found out but "there's no transparency in the data" or "Covid includes any death within 28 days so you could get hit by a bus and it would be Covid" becomes a reality for people...
Also the "this Dr says X" without remotely checking the qualifications of said Dr but pouring cold water on the qualifications of those refuting it.

There's nothing commendable about what he's saying and done so far.
If he simply had a problem with mandatory vaccines he'd accept the rules various countries have in place and choose to stay away as his own individual protest. Instead he tried to get into Australia anyway by lying on his application, whipping up crqckpot anti-vaxxers and is now trying desperately to save face with his sponsors so they don't pull out.
He's a selfish, arrogant, moronic skid-mark.
Maybe consider lashing in an order every day for the next week, and have a stash of LFT.

It’s going to be interesting to see what the future research uncovers. My family (myself, wife, and five kids) had Covid a couple weeks ago. Thankfully, no one had it too bad but it was interesting to see the differences in symptoms. My older daughter and I repeatedly tested negative with the rapid tests but positive once we had our PCR tests. Neither of us had symptoms. Just curious as to the differing reactions.Good to hear the girls are on the mend mate, fingers crossed you and your son, will be grand.
Its a weird one more research is being done on why some people will pick it up fairly normally exposure and why some never seem to despite, similar or closer exposure.

Nah, there’ll be another winter wave at end of this year as it’s endemic now. So sensible to have some in to protect elder relatives etc.

The majority of people aren't going to buy tests out of choice, a lot of people are struggling to pay for heating and food never mind COVID tests. They know what they're doing. Positive test figures will be a fraction moving forward and then the pandemic will look like it's over which is their goal. Out of site out if mind.

Yeah, I do speak to my parents from time to time.
He lied on his visa form. It wasn't like he chose not to go because he knew the Australian government's stance. That's the whole reason he was locked up.
I was so prepared not to play; I travelled there, lied on my visa then appealed the decision in court.
