Yep! (Just to clarify to others - my post was anti-media panic, not anti vax!)
I'll say upfront I'm totally Pro Vax, have had all the jabs in entitled to as have my family including children.

Bit on vaccine effectiveness....I was reading on BBC website some analysis article talking about how each vaccine you get is like your immune system being educated in how to respond to the virus. Each jab you get is like progressing from primary school thru secondary and on to university, it said. If that's the case how can we have waning immunity from a booster as soon as 10 weeks?

It feels like we're back to herd immunity resulting from an infection if that's the case.... The variant of concern is originating from a mutation of the virus in a country where there is a low vaccination rate and it's hard to see how or why that wouldn't continue if the vaccine effectiveness is so short lived. Countries with less well developed economies will never be able to facilitate the type of vaccine programme that we would need to stop a repeat of the Omicron impact that we've felt in the last few weeks.

Had my booster yesterday at 6PM. Thought I was okay but really achey and feverish since midday today, anybody else had those kind of time ranges and can I expect to feel much better tomorrow? Knew I shouldn’t have booked this close to Xmas…

‘Boosters waning for some’ lol

At some point the average joe on the street who's under 50 yet happy to roll up their sleeves deserves a share of the blame for whats to come.

Boosters every 3-6 months with little to no knowledge of any potential long term effects on your health.
