Yeah, I'm fully aware there are negatives too.

But for me, on the whole, there aren't many. I very much 'work to live' and now work fits around my life style. Not in a hermit way too. I run when I want, I meet up with mates whenever and I have seen some work mates outside of work too.

I'm enjoying the disruption it's clearly having the hierarchy in firms. I can tell some 'higher up' people hate the equality it's brought to the workforce with calls and meets etc.

I was meant to go back for two days a week in sept and didn't really have a prob with it but I am not upset it's been extended.

£250 less a month to train companies and three hours a day more of my own time will always be the deciding factor.

Oh yeah I'm fully in favour of people being able to work from home mate. Suppose I just also understand that there's a lot of negatives for other people/businesses too.

It's all about a mix, like anything in life!

No hospital figures reported for today, last Sunday’s late revealed total was 27

All settings - for the 28 day cut off, 59 deaths were announced today, down 34 on yesterday and up 20 on last Sunday. The 7 day rolling average rises to 90.43

For the 60 day cut off, 68 deaths were announced today, down 38 on yesterday and up 14 on last Sunday. The 7 day rolling average rises to 101.29

But the most effective solution? Every expert STAT asked had the same answer: vaccinations and masking. They say that the way out of an elective surgery pause is by addressing the problem at the root: Only by decreasing the number of Covid-19 cases hospitals have to attend to could they start elective surgeries back again and get back to providing better care to all patients beyond those with Covid-19.m

Supposed to be a full office today. I’ve been in for a couple of months now but only with a few others. So off on the drive across to Hull in a minute. Mind you can’t stand cheek by jowl in the Brick for hours on Saturday then worry about an office, which I am not. Suspect there will be a few with reservations though.

Good. Absolutely ludicrous decision.
Here's 2 more, well 1 possible decision and a statement
The Qld Govt.have a habit of 'leaking' / proposing possible actions to see how the reaction goes, like this one...

From Monday it maybe possible to let kids sport resume, but not Adult sport.
Now who do they think will be taking the kids to this sport and standing on the line.

The Chief Medical Officer or what ever her title is, was asked by a reporter, after the news that some bright spark from friday wants police to restricting border access to vaccinated people only.
How will they police prove vaccination? Her medical officership was asked.
Her reply - why would people lie about a thing like vaccination - the mind boggles

+28,438 cases 26 deaths for the UK today.

Think they should stop with reporting these figures publicly. It looks like a done deal. Only academicians should be able to access the numbers if they ask for it via ministry.

5500 in hospital though. That said, absolutely no idea if that is loads, in context. Nor any info re vax/unvax.

Tbh, I think most people only give the figures a passing interest now.

They’ve been used as a tool to frighten the life out of people for that long, that people have have become desensitised to them.

Remember less than a month ago, the screaming headlines of 100 000 cases a day and a 1000 plus hospital admissions every day ????

Hospital figures - 11 deaths were announced today, nothing to compare from yesterday but it’s down 8 on last Monday. 7 deaths were in English hospitals, again nothing to compare from yesterday but it is down 8 on last week. The 7 day rolling average falls to 73.43

All settings - for the 28 day cut off, 26 deaths were announced today, down 33 on yesterday and down 11 on last Monday. The 7 day rolling average falls to 88.86

For the 60 day cut off, 29 deaths were announced today, down 39 on yesterday and down 7 on last Monday. The 7 day rolling average falls to 99.86
