Do we know if when the hospitalisation figures say x% of those admitted have been vaccinated, that this allows for a 3 week lag after the vaccine was actually administered? As surely thats an unfair stat without allowing that period for the vaccine to be effective
PHE are separating the hospitalization first dose patients into <21 days and > 21 days but fully vaccinated get all lumped in together from what I have seen.

If you get them (not everyone does, especially first dose) starting around 8 to 12 hours is fairly typical, usually resolved within 48 hours of the jab.

Thats just not true, though.
A considerable number of the population are still acting very differently to the way they would if there were no restrictions in place.
Some evidence is showing that the virus escaped from a lab, which is not saying the virus was made in a lab or was purposely genetically re-engineered to cause human destruction. Rather, the Wuhan lab had acquired the virus sample from miners who got it from bat guano back in 2012 and were working on it in the lab...and then the virus likely escaped from the lab. The virus is still a zoonotic: bat --> human, but it's more like bat --> (lab) --> human.
