I'd reserve judgement on the effectiveness of the vaccinations. We just got out of lockdown so we have no idea whether they or thr lockdown itself that's the diffrence.

Except we do.
The positivity in age groups whom are vaccinated has slowed considerably more than non vaccinated.

Hospital figures - 22 deaths were announced today, down 3 on yesterday and up 5 on last Thursday. 21 deaths were in English hospitals, down 4 on yesterday and up 8 on last week. The 7 day rolling average rises slightly to 14.14

All settings - for the 28 day cut off, 13 deaths were announced today, down 14 on yesterday and down 9 on last Thursday. The 7 day rolling average falls to 11.57

For the 60 day cut off, 30 deaths were announced today, down 35 on yesterday and down 2 on last Thursday. The 7 day rolling average falls to 28.29

This is encouraging - AZ vaccine appears to be effective against the India variant.

Please show how you worked this out by refining the effects

1/ the vaccines had on that slow down
and
2/ the lockdown on that slow down

Wait for the Pfizer if you can. Not only does it not have the rate of blood clotting of AZ, it also does better against the South African variant.

Because you said to wait for Pfizer if you can. Waiting suggests delaying vaccination which is more dangerous than not getting vaccinated with a proven effective vaccine.

Well its obvious isn't it.

Lockdown 2020 ; the rate of infection for all age groups increases at similar rate.
Lockdown 2021; the rate of infection for non vaccinated individuals increases quicker than vaccinated age groups.

Its not rocket science. Unless your claiming its just fluke?

Key part of the post / advice = "IF YOU CAN".

If someone is offered the AZ vaccine but before their appointment the possibility of another becomes available (which seems to be possible in Germany from what was posted) then do that.

What about the falling death rate in vaccinated groups?
What about the increase in antibodies in the vaccinated groups?

Your a bit of a coward when it comes to admitting your wrong.
