And only put in restrictions recently - a lot of case growth already baked in unfortunately especially given a lot of poorer and multigenerational household that won’t be able to isolate :(

Yeh I keep seeing people talk about cases in India and people being out and about etc. There is no furlough. You work or you die from poverty. India is a brutal place for the majority of the population.

100% you`ve never been to any recent events in Sefton Park.

Even for something as sedate as the Food Fair, it`s impossible to get in without a ticket and this will be mean it`s impossible for the " untested " to get in.

The security and organisation of these events is impeccable, due to the enormous public liability and safety issues concerned

Do crack on with your agenda driven conjecture and scaremongering though.
Might actually even go to this with Blossoms playing. Hopefully will get more bigger bands there also.

I remember Blossoms were due to support the late but great Viola Beach at one point and were due to go on tour before Covid hit.

Does this mean Echo and the Bunnymen will be at this?.

183 deaths this week, with 10 today. Although it’s the lowest in a very long time, RIP to the deceased. England will never get a 0 deaths day unlike the rest of the U.K. due to its huge population figures and density. Wales has reported many 0 days and the numbers are dropping fast.

I think we are in a position to live with this now, just need the vaccines to replace lockdown.

She’s good.

I’ve had my first AZ shot so I’ll be protected and won’t need to have a test I imagine.

Hopefully they’ll be some local restaurants and breweries catering for the festival with their extremely great value for money products:

Will be a great day for all involved.
They think that it's all over.

More “Third Wave” scaremongering. They had a point with all the “Second Wave” anticipation as we had no vaccines, but to suggest another wave because of this “Swiss Cheese Model” shít, is going too far. The theory has more holes in it than Swiss cheese itself.

Will be great to see local Liverpool restaurants at the festival, especially the Italian restaurant on the docks, should they chose to participate.

If that is in reference to my post immediately above yours that mentions “Third wave” it is from Ottawa where they are unfortunately experiencing a pretty bad surge in cases

Swinging from trees to get in? Do you think all scousers are just a load of scruffs mate who’ll do anything to get into a little event? Sort your head out, you haven’t got a clue. As a previous poster said, security at Sefton park is excellent.
FFS, save me from the civic patriots. There's no one more proud of the city than me (and, btw, in the best of times I dont see swinging off trees to get into an over-priced gig as wrong). But you live on another planet if you think Sefton Park wont attract way more than 7,000 people on that day. It'll be heaving.

So much for the scientific experiment.
