I agree, I said to Davek yesterday that this is regularly happening across the UK. The amount of gatherings this weekend for the national was mental. You could probably fine multiple houses on every street for having about 10 people round.

My ma and sister have been proper off with me for not breaking Covid rules, it's exactly whats been happening on mass is breaking those rules. Trouble is im in the public sector too many of Boris Covid police twitching their curtains despite having houses full of people themselves, do as we say not what we do.

Then it's a violation that must be happening in a lot of places. An establishment like that wont go out on a limb; they'll have been advised or rang around other places getting handed 'tips' by others using the same method.

A place like that will undo all the good done in that town Coventry during the lockdown in a fortnight flat.

I suggest that councils and police forces all over the country start closing these places down ASAP or this reopening is over before it begins.

The council will have contacted every pub and designated premises supervisor and laid down its rules. Our council also told us that they would be sending ‘mystery shoppers’ to check out the operation of all pubs. Depends on what rules are being applied for each area I suppose.....
