The mask of the clown slips a little further. Not the NHS not the armed forces, not the local authorities and neither the volunteers are behind the success.

What an appalling thing to have said on the day that a remembrance (of sorts) was held for the 126,000 people he was instrumental in killing.

Thank God for greed and capitalism being able to extract vast profits from chaos and human misery. Has there ever been a more disgusting bag of excrement PM of this country?

Don't you just love the class system Britain.

My nana owns a villa in Spain.

She has done since 1982.

Working class. Her and my granddad built their own company. She raised five kids.

Having a holiday home doesn't automatically make you rich.

There are thousands of people who have died alone, with no family around them or nobody able to attend their funeral.

Yet here you are crying cos you cant go to Ibiza in the Summer.

Boo hoo.

You arent the only person who has suffered this past year, you self entitled little cretin.

Old people succumbing to the only certainty in life isn't the tragedy that you make it out to be and I appreciate that it may sound shocking to simpletons but people died alone before this disease and people will continue to die alone.

What is a tragedy however is the fact that our nation's children have pretty much missed out on a year of school, that our nation's young adults are not able to attend lectures and seminars or have a solid foundation on which to start their careers.

Yes, but at the same time, what has been a massive plus for many has been being able to spend long periods with their children. I work away regularly and this has been a plus for me.

The burden has been carried by everyone. Young and old. It’s been a tragedy for everyone.

Im not sure weighing some lives over others is a particularly healthy way to look at this. Nor does the fact that death is inevitable make it any easier, particularly for loved ones.

I’d happily give up a year of partying and ‘seminars’ at uni for a couple of extra years with people I cared about for instance.

You do understand it isn't just the elderly that are vulnerable don't you? I'm 35 and take immunosuppressants which makes me vulnerable to this. I've spent 5 months of last year and almost the first four months of this year being told not to leave my house. I would have gone to work but I wasn't allowed.

I feel for the young in all of this just like I feel for all those who have lost loved ones. My 6 year old lad has missed most of his year 1 school and my 1 year old has missed a lot of the developmental stuff of seeing other kids and people. I'm made up my son is back in school and we can soon see others again but your attitude to this stinks.
