Worthing, the worse increase in that report, has seen no deaths today and a huge percentage decline of 56.8.

Yet deaths and hospital admissions continue to go down.

So the lockdown, combined with the vaccines are doing their job, which was the protocol for opening up again.

You appear to be doing pretty good, but really need to get a move on...for comparison N.I. have done over 30% of their population and have given about 620K doses.....

Yeah we’re doing grand mate and will only go from strength to strength in the coming weeks.

NI is a smaller population alright and we’re running a different two dose strategy, I’m actually surprised NI aren’t further ahead, they started before us and have had AZ for far longer then the couple of weeks we’ve had. I was actually pleasantly surprised when I checked the numbers.

It’s great they are getting on though, we share the island after all.

The current rate of death in care homes, from ANYTHING, is lower than it would be in a non Covid world. Astonishing.

Sorry mate, don’t understand, 3% have been fully vaccinated I.e. two doses. The remaining 7% have had one dose. 10% have received either one or two doses.

Actually my numbers are a bit old we’ve gone just over 10% overall today.

Think we’re due a decision on the J&J vaccine on Thursday, that will be a big help, we’d have four vaccines then!

Yep, the whole island needs to be done. N.I. have given about 620K jabs but only have a third of your population. I think you guys have done about 470-500K, but as you are part of the EU purchase scheme will be held back a bit with vaccine supply for the moment. The EU are now asking the USA for vaccines (AZ I think I read) but I’m not sure how that will go down in the Whitehouse.....
