My neighbours are now key workers and have the kid in school.
Works Saturday morning and Sunday in Aldi she does. ( not school days ).

He deffo isn’t on any key worker list.

Just can’t be arsed looking after the kid anymore during the day.

No doubt saw the ‘vulnerable’ kids further down the road getting taken into school and wanted in on the free babysitting.

They're prats.

But genuinely, what can the government do about that?

I'm not directing this at you really mate but that's just somebody taking advantage of the rules. And since they work for a supermarket, it's not like they couldn't have been classed as a key worker last March either

It was all fine last summer with the kids off, street BBQ’s, everyone round theirs using bouncy castles etc.
FaceBook pics on Bournemouth beach etc.
Bit cold and rainy now.

Don’t get me started...

Name some because I can tell you from where I am it’s like a ghost town for retail only the minimarts and newsagents by me are open
Click and collect is available even from non-essential stores picked up from the premises. John Lewis and Sports Direct were/are doing that.

have they been in lockdown?

Could genuinely be as simple as that combined with summer months mate.

We weren't in lockdown in the summer, really - restrictions obviously, but not lockdown - and rates stayed flat.
But theirs shot up in summer in lockdown and have just subsided, and lockdown restrictions are being loosened from today. November is start of summer there.

hope they've vetted them first

and also ensured they don't start charging an excess to patients
In this instance I worry a bit more about the former than the latter as the excess charging would pretty soon become clear whereas using the stock for friends/family priority will be harder to identify (or having a flat earther as a pharmacist)

Despite the concerns it is still an important step though given our bizarre health system as a lot of people (especially the poor) don’t have a regular doctor and the pharmacy is their best shot of getting a chance at the vaccine.

Not having a go at you here, and I can see his point but people like him need to understand that there isn't the amount of capacity within the NHS to do anything but manage this. When this is all over, what NHS staff have had to do because of the shortage of space and resources should be acknowledged and those to blame for that (over a couple of decades) held to account.
