I wouldn't think so mate, this will be very much a case of show us your work if their are any caveats, but we're speculating, i really hope there aren't concerns and all this is a storm in a tea cup. Be bad for the world if one of vaccines hits the skids.

Indeed. Oxford specifically wanted a supplier that would make minimal profit and get the vaccine to the world. I’m sure this is a storm in a tea cup, but it’s one that AZ didn’t really need as they try to ramp up....

Its hard to draw conclusions without the data mate, we dont know what profile of the vaccines have been rolled out in what sub sets. Isn't the AZ vaccine the one the UK have bought the most of.
Yes. And there is a lot of cash, status and political capital riding on it....

I dont care about the daft games over supply issues. I dont even care at this stage that there are media pursuing vaccine nationalism rather than reporting facts.

I care that what goes in the arms of people I know and care about is doing the job we are told they're supposed to do and offer substantial protection after 1 or 2 jabs.

That's it.
And that’s absolutely fine but all we can do now is wait and see. They’ve done the trials, now it’s out in the public. Hopefully soon we have the information.

Fingers crossed mate, a snag with AZ isnt good for anyone.

The market is an interesting one, the focus is on the here and now, but i think these company's also have to think of the long term, Covid is going to be part of every day life for years as will vaccinations. As the market saturates and it will, these company's cant just think of the short term they need to maintain relationships and reputations going into the long term, when there might be a suite of vaccines to choose from in the long term. The real big money will not be made now, but in the years ahead.

Does anybody follow Dr John Campbell on YouTube? He gives a 30 minute global update on the virus which is pretty good. He is concerned that the B117 (U.K.) is slowly becoming dominant in a lot of countries now and by mid Feb to early March you will start to see it accelerate like it did over here. Hopefully the vaccine roll out can help

Absolutely.....

The media and various other right wing Twitter bell ends are really ramping up the rhetoric on getting schools open. Nice of them to care about the country's children, I just wonder where they've been for the last 10 years as education budgets have been slashed.

Instead of resembling an angry, old man shouting nonsense at the top of their lungs at anything or anyone, maybe they should actually start putting pressure on the government to make schools safe. Smaller classes sizes would be a start. Other countries have done it, seems like it doesn't even enter the mindset over here though. "Open the schools now" is as insightful as these people get. They have nothing to offer to discourse, just bluster.
