I can imagine they get a bit overzealous like

I just think some kids need quite a lot of structure - especially teenagers
They told them all at the start of the year that they had too many people in the classes and they would be looking to get rid of some people.

Then the utter ferret gave them a reason.

I mean its 90% his fault, he had a job lined up and he wanted the money, rather than getting a trade and being able to earn more money, but hey, 17 year olds arent known for their forward thinking.

Think the College need to upgrade their Zoom account - Get the premium version ;)

Can someone explain to me what exactly clapping for NHS/Care workers is supposed to achieve? They don’t need applause they need the public to stop being numpties and follow government guidance on mask wearing, social distancing and general hygiene to ease the pressure on hospitals and get death rates down
The sound of clapping is meant to mimic the sound of the government slapping every NHS worker round the face, repeatedly.

Jesus Christ.

Properly abysmal from the college that.

Yeah, very grim.

We're now gonna see the impact any Xmas mingling actually had in terms of hospitalisations.

Just gone on this link - where you got that info from - and worth noting these other summaries too.

498,624 tests conducted in the day. Over the last week tested 3,129,297

3,179 patients admitted daily, 17,980 over last 7 days

The figures are grim, seriously grim

Hospital figures - 779 deaths were announced today, up 168 on yesterday and up 151 on last Wednesday. 674 deaths were in English hospitals, up 92 on yesterday and up 180 on last week. The 7 day rolling average rises to 551.43

All settings - for the 28 day cut off, 1041 deaths were announced today, up 211 on yesterday and up 60 on last Wednesday. The 7 day rolling average rises to 685.43

For the 60 day cut off, 1148 deaths were announced today, up 208 on yesterday and up 18 on last Wednesday. The 7 day rolling average rises to 757.29

I threaten my sons xbox with dad's hammer and he seems very keen to do his homework and online lessons without fuss lol

tbf he's a good lad and a lot smarter than his old man.

One thing throughout this sad affair, I'm immensely proud of my two kids who have shown more strength, courage, backbone and patience than about 90% of adults I've dealt with since last March.

As his mum is a key worker, I`ve threatened to send him back to school next week lol
