Talk of a last orders at 10, with an hour to drink up to stop the mass pile out.

I do agree though, there`ll be mass all day sessions across the country.

My mate is already trying organise a provisional one, I`ve declined.

Fortunately my local is really well run and sensible, so that`s where I`ll be sticking to

I`ve no idea what they`re going to do with hotels though, as lots of hotels do Christmas and New Year packages, that involve staying over for a few days during the festive period. My brother in law is a head chef at a medium size country hotel and normally by now they`d be packed in the evening with works do`s, until mid January.

Another mate works in a hotel in Llandudno, that relies heavily on old dears coming for the day on coaches. This has obviously completely stopped.

This could well be the end for many of the small / medium independent hotels.

Its difficult to tally all that with someone that would offer a mental health service to people.

I'd not be surprised at all if it's complete BS and he's posted it because people keep calling out his eugenicist views.

Just seen the government are potentially looking at a scheme where you get tested twice a week and you're given a 'freedom pass' so that you can then live normally?

Surely that has to be a joke?

If the vaccine is coming in and we will all be vaccinated by April, why would this be required?

It has to be, because the testing kits are like something from a lucky bag and no sensible person would believe their results.

Why would there be a need for testing until April? Because these incompetent gets wont procure enough vaccine doses.

In fairness the one they're using in the mass testing in Liverpool seems a bit more reliable but I highly doubt it would work well nationwide. Costs would be enormous too.

They need to focus on getting the vaccinations done not testing. Especially considering the test and trace system is laughably bad.

Are the ones used in Liverpool reliable? IIRC there's some doubt over them when self administered or even rolled out by the army - who are not trained medics.

This could change again imo, when the shops open up again imagine how many people are gonna be rushing about Christmas shopping its gonna be chaotic. That's when its gonna spike right back up the pubs wont stand a chance they'll be getting locked down again! Get your cases of lager in and just shut the front door that's what will happen this Christmas.

I thought they were better but looking online they probably aren't.

They have been telling the public for months that negative test results don't mean you can see family etc. Surely now they can't completely go against that?

You can state that you're just giving facts all you like about the number of elderly that have died but the reality is you show a complete disregard for human life. I'm fairly sure you were all for infecting prisoners or trialling a vaccine on them because they wouldn't be missed if they died.
