The fit and healthy arent locked down tho are they?

We clearly have a different definition of what lockdown means.

It's not that people are locked up. Lockdown seems to be the term used for any restriction now, I'm probably guilty of that myself.

The issue is that some people are not being allowed to work or make a living, and a lot of these people are the lowest paid. We need to get beyond the idea of shutting large sections of the economy and learn how to do things more responsibly and with better mitigations. People are going to go into poverty unless we get the economy going again very soon.

Most leisure activities are not allowed where I am, so you can't ignore the social issues either.

And that I get.

But to suggest the young and healthy are under lockdown is wrong.

I feel sorry for the people who the restrictions will affect, I really do.

But that's down to the Tory scum who didn't prepare for what everybody knew would happen in The Winter.

A simple effective track and trace would have worked, instead they pissed the bed and here we are.

I don't agree with the current restrictions, I think they are an utter farce and they will not work.

I still think we should lockdown for 2 weeks, get the army on the streets and shoot everybody that isn't wearing a nurses uniform who leaves their house.

Instead we will dilly and dally for the next 6months and EVERYBODY will suffer.

Hopefully this finally puts to bed the myth that it cant take anybody at any time.

95% had pre existing conditions?

That does seem to suggest that it's mortality is based on other factors beyond simply itself.

The idea that the majority are old and sick, we know the majority are old and this suggests 95% are also sick as well?

That can't be right because it would mean I'm not talking out my arse about it.....lol

Explain how they are locked down?

I have 3 children, all near the age of 20, all 3 are currently out, under no lockdown.

So please, explain how the fit and healthy are locked down?
No you make a good point i use the term lockdown wrong maybe, what i mean is shut the country down like in ireland and wales etc that is ridic IMO

You should always be allowed to go gyms, go shops, work, go for food imo..

I think bars should be open aswell but thats a diff arqument isnt it

I mean, only a few types of places are currently shut. Restrictions are rather light compared to April don't you think.

I don’t think anyone argues that “other factors” such as existing medical conditions don’t come into play, do they?

Last time I looked the pre existing conditions included asthma, autism, diabetes and rheumatological conditions. So not necessarily people who were at death’s door prior to getting Covid.

I can assure you that you are 100% chatting utter horse manure on an hourly basis.

I mean if you wanna roll the dice and hope you arent part of the 5%, that's your choice.
