That all sounds fine in theory, but the problem is that Labour have simply rubber stamped everything the clown has proposed. Indeed it is Labour mayors that are asking for even more restrictions (and then doing u-turns when their local businesses and consumers revolt). It would be good if Labour challenged the government's reasoning and proposals, but they won't. So, even with the clown gone - we'd get more of the same. That's the sad conclusion I reached which is why I don't even bother criticising Boris anymore, we have no alternative.
I agree mate Labour have got to start doing there job as an opposition party. You can't keep saying that if the evidence is there to make these decisions then so be it.
The Tories are not sharing the evidence so they should produce there own evidence to point out where they are going wrong.

Imo the country is at war with a virus all parties should come together this is not political it's a emergency people are dying with covi19 and cancer without treatment by God they need to get together and sort our emergency out

PHE suggest hospitality is responsible for 5%..... our pub is the most incredibly Covid secure place you could be...the other pubs and restaurants in the area have put so much effort into making them secure they really don’t need to be attacked again. Everything in the pub gets cleaned and sanitised, everyone wears masks, the bar staff look like they work in a contagious disease laboratory, the rules are followed to the letter. Exactly what more does anyone want.....
Well done, can't argue with that. You are in a village, bit different eh?
You been back to Liverpool for a while? 10 years or more I'd guess. Blame the plebs in the cities like your hero Bozo does...
Shame on you.

The problem is our system operates around opposition. In times when we have come together politically, it has been around a central strategy to do something (so times of war mostly).

The problem with the strategy we are pursuing on Coronavirus is that the strategy appears to be to control the spread of the virus by imposing restrictions on everyone - most of whom have a very, very small risk from this virus. Naturally, those people who were willing to go along with months of restrictions at first (the lockdown) are now fed up. They see their jobs, businesses and communities going down the tubes and they are asking why are we simply delaying the inevitable? What is the value of the virus going away if there is nothing left to go back to - no jobs, no businesses, massive tax hikes, misery.

So either we adopt the Sweden model and try and shield the most vulnerable but release everybody else from restrictions who are not at risk - a sustainable strategy. Or we continue trying to threaten people into following restrictions of dubious scientific renown and some of which have been previously discredited by our own medical officers in order to delay the spread of the virus further. Which isn't sustainable for much longer in my view. This strategy depends on delaying the spread until a magical vaccine to the problem is operational for the most vulnerable. Yet there may never be a vaccine and allow me to state it again, the virus is of very little risk to healthy people <60 years of age.

Indeed, and as someone over that age of 60, I know that my friends and I are more than capable of working out what is threatening to our health and well-being. We understand the risks, far more so than our younger generations, and so we follow the rules, but quite frankly would rather die than put up with this continuous lockdown approach. FFS, just wear the masks, keep some distance and wash your bleeding hands.....,

At the end of day, we all know that the only way this is being curtailed is by letting it run through the population
There is no vaccine coming.

The government and scientists know this, and the gov have to balance the effect on hospital occupancy whilst this is happening, and also effect on the economy.
Labour know this as well, I think Labour should stop trying to point score and do what is best for the country, which to be fair it seems as though they are, except for a few individuals full of hatred for the country they represent.

You are the rascal. Moreover, you openly admit playing your part in giving Johnson a 80 seat majority, you demonstrably expose you have no idea what is a threat to your or anyone health and well-being...

Anyway more fleecing...
