Been a decent spell of weather mind, but even so, thats great. I assume you have a decent level of outdoor space?

Yeah, and as you say we have lots of outdoor space and decking areas, marquee, large BBQ, etc...so during the good weather we have been fine, the next few months will be a challenge though....

The industry as a whole is suffering badly. We are a wet led pub so didn’t benefit from the eat out deals, but we have picked up some people who are wfh and might have otherwise been using a town based pub after work. We’ve spent big doing the pub up during lockdown and buying new stuff for outside so will not see any benefit until next year really. You wouldn’t do this to make money. Breaking even is the goal....

Sounds very similar to my local. Even had a band in the garden the other Sunday afternoon. But once the nights draw in, it reverts to a drinkers pub, with a very loyal customer base through the winter just ticking over.
