Took me 80 odd hours two weeks to get my results back ago for some contrast.

It`s just ballsed so many people up :

My missus work mates.
My lads school bubble.
My youngest lad is off school.
My lads footy team and sister team.

All because her mate couldn`t be arsed following the guidelines.

The boycott of the football coverage remains in tact though.

That Echo is a terrible website isn't it? Jumps about all over the place and you can't read the story for all the guff on there.

My eldest lad has just tested positive as well as my missus.

Results back in less than 24hrs again.

So on some levels the system seems to be working.

Even closing for 2 days for a clean would help remove most of the risk.

Blanket closures of industries is a completely daft idea imo, but there needs to be clear rules that you must close for a clean when there are confirmed cases.

What’s your take on all this mate regarding lockdown curfews etc..?
I mean you seem to be more qualified than most of us as your missus and kid have got it.

Has your missus took or been given any medication, If so what has she taken to help her?

Reading it, it looks like they did just that. It’s an utter non story really unless it’s to let people that have been in the pub aware. They’ve followed guidelines, what else can you do?

Those are the long reaching consequences (and it could be worse) of us not showing each other the consideration of being careful, whatever our personal beliefs on how its being handled

There`s quite a few pubs it`s happened too and they`ve had the place deep cleaned and open within 24 hrs, minus staff with the virus.

It`s yet another " lets scare the life out of everyone " story from the Echo.

The Hare and Hounds was my dads old mates pub, I`m sure @Eggs knows it ?

It`s a brewery run pub ( Punch ) and isn`t a " scallie " pub in any shape or form.

The licensee will have been led by Punch on this, but the Echo makes it sound like they`ve given the floor a bit of wipe, changed the loo rolls and opened up again.

Nothing to see here.
