Christ, our London office shut it's doors last Thursday - around 600 people in the building - as someone has caught it. We're all WFH for the foreseeable. This thing spreads like wildfire, all businesses should be forcing staff to WFH, if that isn't possible because of job specifics (bar work, retail, hospitality etc) then staff should be told to go home and still receive wages.

Urban Outfitters are one of the first retailer to shut all stores globally but have promised to continue paying staff full rate.

I'm more worried about the 'leccy bill. Our ad revenue this month so far is 45.6% down, forecast to be around 70% down at the end of the month.

This is a time to check with vulnerable family and neighbours if you are in a position to do shopping or other errands for them .

Obviously, exercise precautions when actually delivering.

Those of us who are still able to should help those who need it.

Indeed, in fact there are plenty here who were already below any so called poverty line long before this virus began to unfold.

Those on zero hours contracts are very vulnerable - try and help friends and relations in this position where you can.
