So our pubs re opening has been delayed by three weeks, I love a pint but still haven't been since they semi-opened a couple of weeks ago.

I've no problem wearing the mask although I've been shopping for two relatives since this all started so now I'll just try and get them all together along with mine and avoid making more trips.

Kind of surprises me that we're back playing sport, played first match last night, I'm not overly keen to be honest but I played last night, we have five league games to go starting Sunday, and I'm also struggling to understand why flights from places with high infection rates are still arriving here on a daily basis.

Not really, the BRC ( British Retail Consortium ) have stated it's not the stores job to enforce the law, which is true. Given people may have valid reasons for not wearing a mask, they can hardly ask anyone who's not wearing one if they have a medical condition which stops them doing it.


But, because it's the law, the vast majority ( excluding people from the Wirral and St Helens, who are lost causes ), will abide by the law.

It seems sensible to me to be honest, but it's a shame publicans who were set to open, and had put time and money into it were given less than a weeks notice.

With cases on the rise again not quite sure why we're going back playing sport, gaa and soccer all coming back with attendances of 200 allowed, still letting flights from the US and England in and yet we seem to be blaming house parties for the rise in numbers, seems strange.

You‘d think the “I won’t mandate but will leave it to local authorities if they feel it necessary in their area“ would be a sufficient dodge.

I'm not surprised. My buddy moved to Huntington beach, I spent 10 days there. Weird crowd. Had like this 50 something uber driver, blond with fake tits. Driving a caddy, said her son moved down there and was renting a house with a bunch of friends.

They had an extra bedroom so she just ubers then goes out and parties and crashes there. Felt bad for her kid, his mom getting turnt out everynight for sure.

That summed up the people there.
